About Miah Trenchers

Miah Trenchers delivers proven subsea trenching and burial solutions for power and telecommunications cable installation in demanding seabed conditions. With more than 40 years of onshore and offshore experience, our systems are trusted on projects where deep burial, reliability, and long-term asset protection are critical.

What We Do

We design and support subsea trenching and burial equipment used on critical cable installation projects worldwide. Our core capabilities include hydro-jet subsea rock trenchers and vertical injector systems, developed from some of the earliest deep-burial projects globally.

Our hydro-jet rock trenchers are capable of cutting trenches up to 4 meters deep in rock, while our vertical injectors provide cable burial up to 10 meters in jettable soils such as sand, mud, and clay. Deeper configurations are available to meet project-specific requirements.

Project-Driven Engineering

Every project presents unique seabed conditions, burial requirements, and operational constraints. We support project-driven engineering—supplying equipment as integrated trenching spreads or as standalone vessel-mounted systems depending on the installation strategy.

Standard injector configurations are available in multiple cable widths, with custom designs engineered to meet specific route geometry, seabed conditions, and operational challenges.

Global Experience

Our technology has been successfully deployed on projects across Southeast Asia, the Baltic, and the Middle East, including multiple deep-burial installations in Singapore—one of the world’s most demanding subsea environments.
